Horse Racing Tips Week 51 2010
22/12/10 Horse Racing Tips
Lingfield
2.05 – #4 Mafeking
Course and distance winner here 15 days ago, had rough times where no success, now a rise up back to grade 2 will suit. Top speed and top rated, 3lb rise fair. Had all stable mates running to form last 14 days, suggesting he’s in it for the win.
Finished 3rd @ 7/2
2.35 – #5 Methaaly
Terrific form in last starts, 3rd placed here and win at Wolverhampton at grade 4 in last two starts. Drawn mid low, favorite stall position for him and with Joseph Young on board, same jockey in last 9 starts, improving with every ride. Able on distance and weights to pose no setback.
N/R
3.05 – #5 Loyal Royal
Course and distance to his right, raced his last 4 starts here and knows the course well. Shown skills and abilities at grade 5 about a month ago, should imply over his abilities to land this run. Mid high draw will be no problem for this 7 year old having placed 2nd over higher draw positions, and weights allocated are well within his capabilities.
Finished 2nd @ 9/2
Kempton
4.25 – #6 Love You Louis
Course and distance and shown abilities in current grade. drawn in the middle and weights slightly lowered so advantage for this 4 year old is obvious.
Finished 4th
5.55 – #4 Lean Machine
Still a maiden after 14 starts, however placing 2nd and 3rd rules his form, and should try to break his maiden in this run. Low draw at his side, an experienced 5 grade runner who will now benefit the drop in grade. No significant change in weights, should be able to handle allocated. Luke Morris on board, been mount this horse for last 5 starts and should have a hand at guiding this 3 year old colt to hit the finish line.

Southwell
1.05 – #4 Best One
On his mark in this one, placing 3rd last two starts and will improve for this run having weights and grade same as last two starts. An experienced runner and a Southwell veteran with course and distance under his wing, should benefit the dropped back to 5f. Luke Morris on board, teamed up with the gelding in his last 10 starts, obviously an exclusive rider for this horse, who has delivered some satisfying results in the last 4 months of racing. Drawn beatifully and should land in frame, e/w advised.
Finished 7th
2.35 – #4 The Lock Master
An Irish 3 year old, stepping on UK courses only in his last two starts at grade 5, placing 3rd to Steed in his last. Drawn to attack from within the inner rail and slightly dropped in weights for this one allowing him to overpower his last performance. Dropped to 7f, shouldn’t trouble him and perhaps even give him some edge over others, also experienced slow going on A/W.
Finished 2nd @ 8/1
3.05 – #4 Shifting Gold
Brilliant performce in his last three starts here at Southwell, placing 2nd in all of them. Knows Southwell and will show it on this run. Amy Ryan teamed up with this 4 year old, the same jockey responsible for the last three 2nd placing here. Horse will benefit the rise in trip and should use his low draw to finally land a win having all his last three placing achieved with a high wide draw.
Finished 3rd @ 3/1
3.35 – #2 Yossi
On placing form of late, last 4 starts here 2nd placing. Knows Southwell and more importantly knows Southwell on slow going which gives him an edge over the other contenders. A strong runner with racing experience at higher grades and able distance, suggesting he’s got extras for this one. Wide draw won’t hold him back and with Sean Palmer on board who lead the 6 year old into a placing spree, landing in frame is almost guaranteed.
Finished 4th
A decent outcome for our horse racing betting chances.
20/12/10 Horse Racing Tips – MEETING ABANDONED
Wolverhampton – MEETING ABANDONED
1.50 – #11 Nicholas Pocock
The tipping section favorite, a grade 5 veteran now set off to prove he’s able on high weights of 10-0 at grade 5. This race is tough to figure, all horses are over weighted and the race itself is an amateur jockey ride so predicting results here is a too tough of a task. Tipping Pocock just because we favor him.
2.25 – # 4 Talenti
A terrific runner excelling in form up until last run at Kempton where he came 8th however had excuses. won four and placed one out of his last 6 starts now teamed up with Dane O’Neill again, the same jockey responsible for nailing the 7 year old last 4 wins which obviously knows the way of this horse and will once again lead him to land in frame. Last run for this gelding was at grade 5, now lowered back to 6 and with a hint of abilities in grade 4 under top weights of 10-12. Weights allocated for this run don’t exceed much over weights given here 2 months ago, when the horse won over course and distance. Drawn to engage in addition to his abilities lately and should have a chance of landing the odds.
4.35 – #4 Ivan’s A Star
A leading contender in the card and the natural choice for this race. In excellent form of late, nothing but 2nds and wins all the way through, now back to a familiar field where course and distance already proven for this 2 year old. Weights down to the lowest allocated in the last 6 runs where he undoubtedly dominated the course, able on slow going at an A/W surface unlike many others in this race and with Luke Morris on board seems to have the best chances to land first at the finish line.
5.35 – #4 Lord Of The Dance
Perfect Draw for this 4 year old who’s on a running spree lately, delivering satisfying results including placing 3rd to Final Drive in his last here at grade 4. Now lowered back to grade 5 and with relatively complimenting weights should be able to perform as it did in his last runs and land in frame. Able on course and distance and proven on A/W slow going, much like Private Joke, which poses the biggest threat to the Lord, whose only edge over Private Joke is his racing experience.
