3.20 – #2 Odin’s Raven
Fair win in grade 5 two weeks ago,  now dropped in grade and lowered in weights. A consistent sort who just doesn’t seem to get his way in the frame and keeps placing time after time, though his form suggests winning is just a matter of time. in top speed advantage and top rated, Advised e/w on this one as expected to remain around 7/1 – 10/1 which is suitable for this bet.

Finished 3rd @ 6/1

3.50 – #7 Nicholas Pocock
Placed 3rd here with top weights in his last start, now running similar run at bottom weights. Rise in trip will suit him, been running well shorter distances and expected to go well on this one. New jockey on board and head gear on suggests a new approach on the trainer’s behalf who had all of his horses running to form last 14 days. Well respected contender facing tough opposition from favorite Strike Force.

Finished 3rd @ 100/30

4.20 – #4 Port Hill
Placed to 2nd here a week ago under same weights at less favorable draw position and believed to have better chances to land in the frame this time around. Top speed figures complimenting and  top rated among contenders . Knows Wolverhampton, proved over distance and with Shane Kelly on board who ridden almost half his starts, placing him twice, should go well here.

Kempton

4.30 – #12 James Pollard
Beautifully drawn for this match and with much lower weights than those allocated when coming 4th in his last at Lingfield same grade as this race. In good form of late, trainer has 100% of his horses running to form in the last couple of weeks, Pollard shouldn’t be any different. On board is Andrew Heffernan who won with Pollard 2 months ago in Ffos Las.

Finished 6th

6.30 – #3  Hatta Stream
A strong consistent runner who came 4th last two starts at grade 4 and so should improve for this one as weights remain same as last start. Proven over course and distance and with a bit of help should leave his top rival Lujeanie following to place 2nd or third.

Lingfield

2.40 – #3 Dingaan
Excellent form of late, a sequence of placing and wins in his 6 last starts which seized when running Cl4 here 21 days ago. Weights are well within his abilities and he should also cope with the high draw he’s been given. Past performance shows wins on course, distance and current class, recent setback probably shook his trainer off  into boost training  efforts to allow this 7 year old to recreate his past Cl4 wins. Faces tough opposition from Requisite, who’s a veteran Cl4 runner, but benefits a better jockey on board and top speed.

3.40 – #1 Eastern Gift
Dropped to class 6 in face of recent poor performance at Cl4 and Cl5, a fact which will probably help him over come recent setbacks. Ran very well last Wolverhampton run and should get involved to land in the frame here is well. No significant change in weights so won’t struggle to hold on, perfect low draw and top speed at his side, highest among runners in the card along with the highest given rating, both official and non official.

Kempton

4.50 – #1 Blackstone Vegas
Leading contender for this one, experienced higher grades so current grade will definitely suit. Familiar with Kempton and though only managed to place here, his latest form and abilities to hold the distance should bring him closer than others. Ran well and placed with weights much higher than those allocated in previous starts, over distances exceeding current run. Top rated at top speed position and should do well here today.

5.50 – #1 Dancing Welcome
Consistent sort who shows a  stable form in starts for the past two months. Course and distance already to her credit and Russ Kenmore on board who has ridden her is her last three starts and seems to know his way with her. Weights a bit high than usual as she’s top rated in the card, though no real problem her as she will probably pull through to handle the weights she’s been given. High middle draw in her  favor and should help her get on with the run.
